The official language is Spanish, as in the rest of the Spanish, and Catalan, an officer in the Balearics. In most tourist establishments will also speak English, German, Italian and French.
currency
The official currency is the euro, as in the rest of the Spanish territory.
There are coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, and coins of 1 and 2 euros.
There are notes of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500.
OJO! Any amount in or out of Spain, in excess of 6011 euros must be declared.

When? - Although they are discretionary, it is customary to leave some tip
Where? - In bars, restaurants and catering service staff
PERCENTAGE? - Between 5-10% of the total consumption
Business hours::
Regular hours are from 9.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00. However, many establishments stay open until noon and 24:00. Some Sundays or holidays these centers are also open to the public.
Entertainment centers: The most popular entertainment centers, bars, pubsand discos are generally open almost all week until 3.00 or 4.00 am
